The juniper, which is commonly trained into a bonsai, is a shrub often found in mountains about 3,000 feet above sea level. Of all the bonsai, this is commonly admired because of its shapely outline and its forgiving nature.

These are "pre-bonsai" trees that are in preparation for bonsai. They are in nursery growing pots instead of traditional bonsai pots.
